The design offers a modern translation of the traditional Chinese woven-arch bridge technique. Utilizing standard-sized Douglas Fir Glulam members combined with innovative concealed steel-tube nodes, it breaks the unidirectional arching limits of traditional load-bearing, creating a highly dynamic, undulating modern timber structure.

The minimalist, four-sided transparent glass facade completely dissolves the building's exterior mass. This nearly invisible boundary yields all visual focus to the highly expressive timber structure inside. At night, it transforms into a glowing lantern, unreservedly displaying the beauty of engineered timber craftsmanship to the public.
